Romantic Pickup Lines

In this first post, I want to tell you why romantic pickup lines work. It has to do with the fact that so many guys think that funny pickup lines or stupid pick up lines work with the girls. They don’t okay. What you and your guy friends think are cute and funny are actually stupid. And they make you look like a loser. You’re not going to impress a girl if you think you can be cool for your friends. That’s not going to work.

It didn’t work for my brother. In fact, I got sick and tired of him complaining to me after he’d come back from the bar and just say, Chris, girls are just not into me. And I’d ask him what he said to them. He would give me this goofy grin and say stupid stuff. Like I remember the one time he told me he thought this one girl was really cute and he wanted to go and talk to her. So what he said is something like this. “Do you have any band aids”, he’d ask the girl and after she’d say something like “No” and be rolling her eyes my brother would say, “that’s too bad because I skinned my knees falling for you.”

How lame is that. If you don’t think it’s lame, then you really need to start understanding what girls are really looking for in guys. Guys, seriously, I’m tired of all the bad pick up lines that you use on us girls, and my girl friends are tired of it too. You need to use sweet pickup lines and romantic pickup lines that really work. Don’t fall for all the hype.

What girls want is a guy who really understands them. And one of the best ways to do that, is by listening. You’ve got 2 ears and one mouth, so it’s always best to use your ears twice as much as you use your mouth. And be yourself too. You’ll impress a girl more by being yourself than trying to come off like some macho dude. That just won’t work.
