A lot of people see dating as a sort of game. If you hold the same view then I really can’t blame you. That’s the way that media and our society is conditioning us to look at it. It’s just like a struggle between the sexes. There are certain things that you have to watch out for or you might end up being the loser in the game.
For guys one of the most important thing to learn when dating is how to figure out if the girl that you are dating is in to you. That is important so you can save time, money and effort or maybe you can use that to change your style to woo her. Personally I think that would be useful so you can just cut your losses.There is no one sure way to do this. There are a couple of ways that you can tell that and this article is all about those ways.
Signs- There are certain little signs that you can watch out for when you’re with your date to tell if there is anything that you can look forward to. Some of these signs are obvious and are there for everyone to read but some of these would take a little more thinking.
Laughter- We always hear people saying that girls like guys with a great sense of humor and that’s true. So if you can make your date laugh then that is a very encouraging. One good way that you can test this is if you can come up with a really lame joke and when I say lame, I really mean lame. If she tries to laugh then that’s a very encouraging signal that she likes you enough to try and laugh even at the corniest jokes that you can come up with. If she genuinely cracks up with your punch line then she’s really into you. That or she has an awfully bad sense of humor.
Be careful about using this method about measuring a girls interest in you. It might backfire. A girl might be starting to like you, but that one bad joke of yours might tip the balance against you. It is important too that you take note of the way that they laugh. Are they laughing because of the joke or is it because she couldn’t believe that there is still a stupid jerk like you who can make a stupid joke like that?
Concern- This is my favorite and I use it all the time to judge a girl’s interest in me. What you need to do here is to think up of some trifles that might arouse their concern for you. Personally what I do is I place a small bandage on my arm or some other part of my body that is not exposed but is not entirely covered as well. She is bound to see it through the course of your date. If she notices it and asks with genuine concern in her voice then you’ve hit the jackpot. If she does not show any concern at all then that might be food for thought. Don’t overdo it. Just pretend that it’s a small cut or burn, something of no consequence. You can also try some other methods, you can leave your collars disheveled or you could miss a button. A girl who cares would point it out to you or maybe even straighten it out for you. (Please, don’t try leaving your fly open and expect her to zip it up for you.)
It’s in the Eyes! - You can always tell a lot about a person from her eyes. If your date keeps looking at you and even maintains eye contact with you for a long time then that is a good sign. If she looks into your eyes and holds her gaze there then you don’t need to read the rest of this article. She’s into you! On the reverse side if she looks past at you while you are talking well better luck next time. She might be looking at the cute guy at the other table.
Body Language- Psychologists have been harping about the fact that body movements can say a lot more than spoken words. You have probably heard about how some movements of the body can signify something and how you can use that to tell what is really on his or her mind. For example if a person keeps his hand in front of his mouth while you are talking then that could signify that he feels you are lying. You can try to read the body language of your date to judge is she is really into you or not.
When you go out on a date try to observe how a girl will act, check her body movements and even how she positions her body. If she leans towards you when you speak If she plays with her hair and touches her face when talking with you then those are also good indicators that she really is interested in you.
She Listens- If a girl becomes interested in you she will want to know more. She is going to pay attention to what you say and ask questions that can draw you out even more. If she is able to do that and you just notice that she is drawing deeper things from you, things that you really did not intend to reveal to her in the first place then there is a good chance that she really is into you. Becoming interested in what you have to say does not necessarily mean that she wants to have a romantic relationship with you. She might just be excited to find someone who is just as interested in the same things that she likes, but it’s a good start.
Teasing- When a girl starts to tease you and calling you cute and playful names then you can bet that she likes you. Of course there are degrees into liking but I assure you that you stand a good chance when she starts being playful with you.
She Makes Herself Available- You can even start figuring out if a girl likes you even before you go out on a date. You can tell by her availability for your dates. Does she always say yes? If she says that she isn’t available for the date that you have set does she give you an alternate date?
Being Close and Touching You- We all know what it feels like being uncomfortably close to a strange person. We don’t want to experience that as much as possible. But when your date keeps on coming close to you and even touches you playfully then you know that she likes you. A girl would never do that to someone that they are not comfortable with. That means that she feels comfortable with you and you have got a tremendous advantage there. Be sure that you press it, but don’t overdo it. Girls would know when they are being taken advantage of. Just play it cool and act like a gentlemen. She’s sure to like you even more. You can try to pretend that you don’t notice her flirting and her touches and she’s even more bound to fall for you that way.
