The funniest pick up lines are usually what we find the lamest. If you and your friends think you’ve got some funny pick up lines chances are, you’ve just lost your chance with us. Seriously, this is one of my biggest beefs. Guys think that their pick up lines are just the greatest. When they’re not.

I know I’ve shared a couple of my brother Chris’s bad pick up lines so here’s another one. If you seriously think this would be a good line to use, then you need to seriously reevaluate how you interact with women.

Okay, this was one he used, because he thought it was hysterical and the girls would love it. News flash, we don’t. “You must be Jamaican… because Jamaican me crazy!” And he said this to a white girl who didn’t even have an accident. So don’t do stuff like that. It’s lame and they aren’t great pickup lines.

If you really want to impress a girl and have a chance at getting to know her and dating her then you need to come across a little more subtle. Great pickup lines are like that. They don’t sound like pickup lines at all.

If you came up to a girl and you were smiling and you looked good. Which means you don’t have to be Brad Pitt but you’ve put a little effort into how you look, and you smell nice, right away you’ve bought yourself some extra time. But if you’ve just come off the rigs, haven’t shaved for a month and look like Joaquin Phoenix on Late Night with Letterman, she’s gonna ignore you from the start.

So if you look great, one of the great pickup lines might be “Hi my name’s John”. And ifyou’re smiling and looking her in the eye you just might be able to get a conversation started. Something simple like that could even be considered one of the best romantic pickup lines.

So to make sure you continue with your beginning success make sure you keep your body language open and inviting. Body language speaks some really great pickup lines that are silent. And if she starts to open more to you with her body, so she starts to face you more, smiles and stuff like that, you’re well on your way.

One last tip I’d like to give you about great pickup lines is to compliment her on something about her. Not how pretty she is or anything like that. But pick something that shows you’ve paid attention and say something like “Those earrings are neat, where did you get them?” Or something like that. These are the kinds of great pickup lines that women love to hear.
