One of the biggest problems that you have to face during a first date is finding something to talk about. In a situation like that, long silences are not comfortable and should be avoided. You need to hit on that something that you can talk about with ease. Be careful with what you say on the first date. Tip#1- Talk about the fact that you have nothing to talk about. This is one great way of starting an honest and and open conversation. This is a good way to asses if your date has any potential to get ahead with her career and if she has any ambitions. There is a certain risk involved here too, since she might be unhappy with her career situation or she might be frustrated with how she can’t find any work related to what she has studied at school.

Tip#6- You can ask about what she does with her free time. This is one good way to find out about her personality. Does she spend it rollerblading? Does she sit at home collecting stamps?

Tip#7- Don’t ask about her ex. Avoid that topic of conversation unless she opens up on it and if she does it is more likely that it’s not a good sign.
